Welcome to Watford Safer Business Intranet
Businesses in Watford have joined together to share information amongst themselves on this intranet site relating to:
- shoplifters
- Individuals subject to ASBOs
- Known pickpockets or 'dippers'
- Graffiti 'taggers'
Many businesses have radios for the security of the staff and customers, allowing them to call for immediate attention if problems arise and to warn neighbouring premises if offenders are in the area.
On this site, we share information about offenders and people who have been banned by Watford Business Against Crime. We can also upload information about incidents that happen in our premises to help identify individuals who commit crime in and around our property.
The site is administered by Watford Business Against Crime, a non-profit making membership scheme made up of businesses, and supported by Safer Watford - a coalition of Watford Council, Hertfordshire Constabulary and others.
The Watford Safer Business Intranet is available to members of Watford Business Against Crime and the Anti-Social Behaviour Action Group
They work together to reduce crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour in the borough of Watford.
